The Jazz Age
Jazz music is twisting in circle of amorous possibilities.
I am a great lover of jazz especially the jazz age of the 20s and thirties when artist performed to perpetuate the swinging society, it was a time lavishly sprinkled with listening skills where Harlem beat with the swinging sweet shuffle of the soul of man vibrating to the corners of Hollywood and Europe, it captivated the then society with loose lust and send them twisting in circle of amorous possibilities.
The roaring twenties gave us the kind of musician rendition that is consider today as old fashion “jazz” it can only be found by enthusiastic minorities, those who love to hear great talents like. Louis Armstrong, Ruth Etting, they made music seemed like a breeze for lovers taken for granted. New york times pick up on the Jazz culture and promoted the thriving values, this was a time when jazz was popular, and every had an itch in their feet to dance, what agreat time that must have been withe saxaphone, the bass, the drums, the creole band, and the swinging delimia.
New York in the 1920s twenties was swashed with gangsters and money making bootleg scams, it was the idyllic setting of The Great Gatsby on Long Island.
In the great Gatsby, Nick works as a bond broker in the centre of Manhattan. He becomes engaged somehow in the life of one of his neighbor on Long Island, Jay Gatsby, who is a mysterious and somewhat shady character, who is entertaining hundreds of guests at the lavish parties he financed, his love for jazz is apparent, honeysuckle and daisy aides his rich taste for life.
Scott Fitzgerald the author of the great Gatsby, lived the glamour life, he was not afraid to represent the vestibule of high society, writing amidst the swinging jazz age in which he emblematically flourished, even though he was a young man who at the age of eighteen, he would court the visionary shadow of Daisy Buchanan, which was a prelude of what was later to come in the Great Gatsby, with such a sad ending, Nick is left to arrange Gatsby’s funeral, attended only by Gatsby’s father and one former guest.
From the ashes of ruin, Jazz arose and took the moments in souvenirs that were beautiful and dammed, depicting the sensuous privilege of a society rich with star spangled tunes, bursting forth from every street corner in New Orleans. Jazz beats carries a depth of feelings to the soul in the finest fireside moments, especially on cold nights with wonderful love letters.
Jazz is primary an American music art borne out of hard times, and further developed into African communities, it’s a relatively new ethos of entertainment risen within the 20th century. The Jazz age reminds me of a time when when jazz was sweet in the cotton club, music spoke louder than the banned sale of alcohol. Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Bessie Smith, red hot peppers and Earl Hines.

Jazz Clubs question by stellar: What songs are sung in jazz clubs?
When women sing in jazz clubs, what artists and types of songs are usually sung? In an expensive jazz club in New York City, for example? Please be specific by naming specific artists and songs that were originally written/performed by women, I need this for a story I’m writing and don’t know very much about jazz. Thanks a lot!
